The History of Certified Machinery
Certified Machinery was incorporated in 1994. We started by selling used packaging equipment and new product handling systems for coding and marking, i.e.: our case feeders. CMI became known for our expertise in rebuilt equipment, primarily cartoners. Widespread use of the internet enabled us to connect with customers across the country / world that would not have known a company located in New Jersey. Since then much has changed. As a company we have evolved from just offering used equipment to including new equipment into our repertoire. We are pleased to offer a full line of packaging machinery including, but not limited to: fillers, tube fillers, cappers, labelers, cartoners, checkweighers, metal detectors, etc.
Our business philosophy is that your reputation is all you have in business. We believe that we have built a good reputation by selling good equipment at a reasonable price and exceed the requirements of our customers projects.
Frank Rodgers – President – Sales
Over 20 years experience in contract packaging culminating in Plant Manager. After a long term working relationship with Ernie DiGiulio, the two decided to open Certified Machinery.
Ernie DiGiulio – CEO – Sales
Over 17 years in sales management in the packaging industry. After selling equipment to Frank Rodgers for many years, the two decided to form Certified Machinery.

44 years experience in Automation Control Systems design and implementation. Expertise in creation of custom turnkey systems and software programs for printing, serialization and track & trace.
Glenn Thorsen – Service Manager
Expertise in configuration, installation & implementation of TIJ printing technology and custom installations. Supports installations in pharma, medical device, food and building product manufacturers.
Larry Glenn – Equipment Technician / Trainer
35 years in packaging in food, pharma & contract packaging. Electromechanical hands on engineer of packaging equipment and TIJ printing technology.
